This coming season we're changing up our message team a lot. Last year we were blessed with seven brilliantly talented students who all had awesome calls of God on their lives and were eager to get out and do great things for God. Because of our team's work and God's grace, we were able to minister to youth by preaching almost two dozen messages collectively!
Last season was the first season, and we tried to make our message team very broad and well-rounded by providing not only sermon training, but songwriting and poetry, as well as a few other genres.
This year we're honing in on just preaching the Word, and I think that it will increase our effectiveness in our students. Last year there was tremendous growth in every team member and this year we're expecting exponentially more growth.
Tori and I will be teaching this team together. Tori brings an astounding level writing skill to the table, and I give tips on public speaking.
Also, God has blessed us with a new location to hold our practices! We're now able to use an actual platform in our meetings! We also increased our meeting time as well, which will allow us to get even more instruction in, including bringing in more pastors from the community to speak to our team!
